Apostle
Apostles lead the charge in vision and mission, nurturing the spiritual foundation of our church community.

Steve was recognized in 2014 as an Ephesians 4 Apostle at the annual Autumn Advance conference. Steve is from Ottawa Canada and is Apostle over many churches in North America and beyond.
Elders
Our Elders are the dedicated functional leaders of our church, overseeing its operations with wisdom and steadfast commitment to our spiritual mission.

Stephen, husband to his wife Amy, Papa to their young son, serves as the first among equals on the eldership team at Christian Outreach Church. He and Amy spent two years living on a ministry farm in Canada, where they were mentored and discipled by the leadership team at Kindred House Global. With a love for Scripture rooted in biblical theology, Stephen is passionate about both personal and congregational spiritual formation, and about helping the church see God’s unfolding plan through Jesus—from creation to new creation. He and Amy love gathering people around the table—whether at home, in the park, or wherever food and fellowship can be shared—as a regular rhythm of life and ministry. They also share a deep desire to see marriages grow and flourish, believing that the covenant between a man and woman is the basic building block of the Church. Whether he’s teaching, gardening, building community rhythms, foraging in the woods, or swing dancing in bright socks, Stephen brings curiosity, care, and conviction to all he does.

As he was growing up, Steve Miller came with his family from Indiana to Family Bible Camp at
Christian Outreach, an annual event which had deep impacts on his life, not the least of which
was his meeting and marrying his wife Cathy, who grew up here. After graduating from
college, Steve and Cathy both taught various grade levels at Christian Outreach School for
ten years. Then for the next ten years they lived in Guiyang, China, with their expanding
young family, teaching English and doing (as they say in China) “M” work. Since returning to
Missouri in 2012, they have served as administrators and teachers of all kinds of subjects at
Christian Outreach School while living in a home on top of the hill next to the COS soccer
field.
If you visit the campus here, you’re likely to see Steve outdoors running, mowing grass, or
admiring nature with his young grandson, or else grading algebra papers and drawing artwork
on chalkboards in the school. Steve’s care for his wife and family and enjoyment of dad jokes
and collecting pocket knives is surpassed only by his love for knowing and teaching the Word
of God and learning to listen well to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

Since 2008, David has been married to Ashley, who brings wisdom and grace to their wonderfully full life with four adventurous kids. They share a deep passion for seeing the church thrive, eager to watch people grow into the unique, joy-filled creations Christ made them to be.

Daryl and Donna Roth have been married for more than 35 years.
They have three adult daughters and a growing number of grandkids.
Daryl is often referred to as our resident “walking concordance”.
He worked for DRS Technologies in High Ridge for 35 years.
Daryl’s a big fan of country music.
