Worship

We have a thirty-year history of deep commitment to the worship life of our congregation and school. Our worship-leading Praise Band is central to our congregational life. Led by Dan Kennedy, the worship team is not merely a collection of proficient musicians. It also models the kind of relationships with God and each other that are mandated by Scripture. People from high-school age to seniors are welcomed into the worship team with their various gifts.

We consider instrumental music to be an important part of a well-rounded worship ministry. To that end we encourage instrumentalists to become part of the worship leading band. This team includes a number of talented instrumentalists. The instruments include guitar, piano, synthesizer, and drums.

Our contemporary worship style also makes good use of technology. We are blessed with good equipment and a competent worship tech crew.

Our philosophy of ministry recognizes that the worship service is first a Divine Service in which God first touches us, and second, a human service, in which we respond to God.
